Weekend in Richmond
We spent Saturday at CMOR (Children's Museum of Richmond) -- it was a very fun place for kids. David really liked the kitchen (of course), the auto shop, the apple tree (picking "apples" (red balls) and sending them through a machine to go back thru the tubes), and some of the farming activities. He ignored the ambulance/doctor's office. Also liked the tree fort, caves, cafe, bank and market.

Kings Dominion 2009
We made a quick trip to Richmond, VA (~ 200 miles) to go to an amusement park with Pat, Jack and Finn.
It was a typical hot & humid Virginia day.

David loved the ride below. Although he is afraid of the dark he seems to have no fear of heights.
His clear favorite this trip was the log flume ride.
I'm sure we rode it more than a dozen times thanks
to the small crowds.
